Another huge congratulations to all these outstanding members of the Cartersville Track team. This was a very important meeting for the team, but they still have work to do. However, there is no doubt in my mind that these athletes will slack off. They will continue to give it their all and finish the season strong.
Track is more than just competing. It teaches motivation and responsibility. Many athletes choose the sport due to its individualism and suspected lack of team effort. However, teamwork plays a much larger role in track than many realize. There are many relay races in track that consist of athletes working together to get a low time and maintain a fast pace. For those who do not participate in a relay, teamwork is still important. When other athletes are running their races or performing their field events, it is important to cheer them on and encourage them in their activity. This forms a characteristic of connection and motivation for all those involved. The Cartersville Track team does an astonishing job at performing these characteristics and keeps everyone on the team together and connected.
We are all super excited to see what the rest of the season holds for our Cartersville Track team, and we wish them the best of luck as they continue with their hard work!
