On September 2nd, the Cartersville raiders went out to their first meet at Etowah High School and won. They competed in five different events: including a team run, PTT, rope bridge, sandbag relay, and a tire flip.
The first event they competed in was the team run. Females placed 4th out of seven teams, the male/mixed team placed 24th out of twenty-five teams, and males placed 10th out of sixteen teams.
The next event in the competition was rope bridge. The females were able to get 2nd place and earned a streamer that goes on the raider flag. Male/mixed team placed 22nd and the male team placed 8th.
The sandbag relay was up next. Female team placed 5th, male/mixed placed 23rd, and males were able to place 8th.
Second to last, we have the PTT. During this event the females placed 4th, male/mixed placed 19th, and the males placed 9th.
Last but not least was the tire flip. Females landed 4th place, male/mixed landed 23rd, and the male team got 8th place.
The state rankings as of September 5th is females are 4th in the state, male/mixed are 7th in the state, and males are 11th in the state. Come out and support the raider on our next on September 9th in Adairsville at 8AM.
