My Home
There are so many things in my life that I’m grateful for, and one that isn’t often talked about is my home. My home is so much more than a house. It’s a place of peace that’s always there for me at the end of a busy day. And more than that, it’s where my family is. It’s where holidays are celebrated and where memories are made. That feeling of relief as I enter the front door is unmatched. Whether I’m sick, in a bad mood, or just exhausted from school, it’s the only place I want to be. It gives me so much comfort to know I always have my amazing family and my amazing bed to come home to.

Gratefully in Love
I am thankful for him. For privacy purposes, I will not specify who he is, but I hope that he will read this and know I am talking about him. I also hope that anyone who has seen us together also knows this is about him, as he holds an incredibly special place in my heart. There are many reasons why I am thankful for him. However, I am only going to list a few. I am thankful because of the way he treats me, and how he is always so kind, to not just me, but everyone around him, I am thankful because he is generous and understanding. I am thankful to have found him because, without him, life would not be as fun as it is now. I am thankful because of the way he completes me and I complete him, but most importantly I am thankful that we found love.

Pretty Much Everything
The season of gratitude has arrived, and I have a lot to be thankful for. I’m thankful for my mom. She’s been there to help me through anything and everything and I really don’t know what I would do without her. I’m thankful for my Mimi and PopPop, who always tell me how proud of me they are. I’m thankful for my dad, stepmom, and Pappy who listen to my ideas. I’m thankful for my sister and brother who have taught me how to be someone to look up to. I’m thankful for my family for every lesson they have taught me. I’m thankful for my friends who cheer me up every time I need it. I’m thankful for all the crappy things that have happened in my life that have taught me something I needed to know. I am truly a blessed individual. Happy Holidays guys!

Friendship
One of the things I’m really grateful for this year is my friendship with my two closest friends, Giselle and Brie. Memories range from going to Braves games three hours early, to never-ending Facetime calls, Late-night Waffle House runs after work, and our once-a-week trip to Buffalos. My friendship with them is one I treasure the most.

Angie Trejo
I’m grateful for Angie Trejo. She Is one of my best friends and she’s the one I rely on to make me laugh. She might not think she’s amazing, but I sure do. The way she laughs at my jokes and even adds to them, all the ways she’s just herself adds to her charm. When I find myself unable to do something, she does it for me and always supports me (even in my delusions). We are known for being everywhere together and having opposite personalities that just match each other perfectly. I can’t see a future without her present because she is my platonic soulmate. Thank you, Angie.

What’s Important to Me
With Thanksgiving around the corner, this is a time when many express gratitude towards those important to them. As for me, I am grateful for my friends, and family, the people who I can count on. I am also grateful for food because I love food. I am grateful to be in good health and have the opportunities that I do. Thanksgiving isn’t the only time of year to show your appreciation for others, though. So be sure to remind those around you that you appreciate them.

Four Seasons
One of the most beautiful things about the earth is its seasons. Four lively seasons, Fall, the season of many things. The temperature and leaves begin to fall. The trees begin to shed the year-old dry leaves. The cool crisp breeze carries them through the town. When you go outside and the warm crisp sun kisses your skin and you think to yourself, “It‘s finally Fall!” Each season has something to love about it. As the last leaf falls, the season of festivities makes it way. Warm and bright Christmas lights are everywhere you look. The taste of peppermint tickles your tongue. Everything in nature begins to frost and freeze. A wintry essence fills every single store. It is the perfect time to enjoy a hot mug of hot cocoa and sit by the campfire. As the snowflakes fall fast, flowers begin to bloom. The sun comes out of hiding and shines through the fresh green grass. The weather feels perfect, warm, and sunny with a small breeze. Children‘s laughter is filling the air, excited to enjoy the day of easter. As the last easter egg is found, a firework shines in the sky. Summer, the season when everything feels right. Not having to wake up at dawn and let seagulls awaken your excited mind.

My Life
Gratitude, thankfulness just, you know, the basic stuff. Most of the time I would say something silly like “Oh I’m thankful for food, gotta enjoy that yummy food.” But I honestly want to say something more of value. I am thankful for my life, and everything in my life. My family, my friends, and just everything around me. I have learned to accept how life flows and appreciate it all.

My Students
I’m grateful to work a job that has allowed me to know and care for so many wonderful people. I’m especially grateful for this year’s Chipper students. You guys bring so much fun and silliness to my day.
