Everybody starts flooding the cafeteria at 8:25 and its crowded. Once it hits 8:34, Mrs. Pate tells us to sit down, the juniors sit at their advisement tables, and the seniors sit anywhere, and teachers start administering tests. When everyone sits down, tests are handed out and they’re all different colors. We filled out some information and the tests are underway.
It is three long, drawn out, and annoying hours and it is pure torture. The test is decently easy as it is at a 10th grade level but sitting for long periods of time makes it hard for me to concentrate.
Half the test consists of mechanical comprehension and systems of engines; the other half was academics such as general science, mathematics, and reading. There is a total of 185 questions on the ASVAB and this filled me with dread. The students are quiet for the most part but for the small number of disruptions. By the end of the test, you can tell everyone is a little irritated.
