Maximus is a first-year member of the Chipper staff. Beyond journalism, Maximus has an interest in competing as a runner and triathlete. Regarding running, he is a fourth-year varsity member of the cross-country and track team at Cartersville High School. He is the team captain of the cross-country team and has a goal of winning the state meet as a team this season. After high school, Maximus is considering running or competing as a triathlete in college. His list of preferred schools is dwindling in size as the year progresses and his graduation nears. He intends to use his newfound platform as a journalist to spearhead issues and discuss enthralling topics. If his plans don’t come to fruition, he plans to carve out a career as a hair model. Maximus rocks an amazing fro.
