Lataria is a junior at Cartersville High. She loves singing and helping care for her siblings. When she graduates, she plans on becoming a nurse. Lataria loves to help people and wants to contribute bring more compassion into the world. Saving lives and smiling, even on the bad days, are two of her primary goals. She feels there's a shortage of African-American nurses and would like to more people of color enter the profession. She hopes to be a role model for change.
