I walk into Chipotle to have lunch with my fiancé, and I go up and order first. While I was ordering the customer service was good and half of them had smiles on their faces. The best part about Chipotle is how many options they have, which makes every trip different from the last. I got a bowl with barbacoa and their new chipotle honey chicken (both very delicious), brown rice, cheese, and salsa. I got to the register, thinking the food wouldn’t cost much, but I almost had a heart attack. It cost $16.07. I understand I got double meat, but that’s an insane amount of money, especially since the portion was small. My fiancé ordered half of one meat and half of another, costing the amount of 1 full-priced meat. The only extras she got were guacamole and a medium drink. Her total came out to $19.54. It is an unreal amount of money, again coupled with the fact it was a small portion. I admit that the food was very good, but I don’t think I could go back, knowing I could get a bigger meal from somewhere else and at a better price.
