Kindness takes less than two seconds,
Yet we are too lazy to say “sorry” I reckon.
Malice is something that we all use,
And people end up getting hurt and bruised.
Forgiveness is something that isn’t that hard,
But people end up taking things way too far.
Resentment stays, living rent free in your mind,
While the one being resented leaves it all behind.
There are two sides to every coin you see,
So pick the one that is kind, I plea.
That little bit of effort goes a long way,
Otherwise the world will be a little more grey.
