Warned
My heart in my throat, my breathing reaching speeds I have never felt before, my back resting upon a hard almost brittle tree,
His voice echoed through the tall trees, bouncing off the leaves, hitting the wet soil beneath me, the wet leaves crunched as his steps got closer.
She ran off into the distance leaving nothing but her aroma behind, she warned me about him before, but I failed to listen to her,
The last thing I remember was his large hand on my now shivering shoulder telling me there was no escape, my vision then blurred leaving me in complete solitude and darkness.

This was a well written poem. When reading it, I was transported to a misty and eerie forest. This writer did an amazing job with vivid imagery. I could feel everything that was happening in the story. Great Job Dory! This was your best work!
